From 10-17-09 through 10-23-09 SRC Base Camp/Outdoor Adventure Graduate Assistant, Ian Pendergast-White took a course through the internationally renowned Ropes that Rescue program based out of Sedona, Arizona. The seven day course included two days of First Aid training and five days of rope rescue training. Ian completed the course and is now a member of the eight person Jackson County Rope Rescue Team that is is comprised of paramedics and Jackson County police officers. Way to go, Ian!

This year SIUC Outdoor Adventure Program will team up with SIUE for a skii trip in Colorado. The trip will be held on Monday, January 3rd through Saturday, January 8th.
