This Triathlon honors the late Robert “Doc” Spackman, longtime athletics trainer and nationally recognized expert on physical fitness. New this year are the Long Course and Kids Race as well as the Standup Paddleboard Challenge!
Classic Race begins at 8 a.m. on Saturday, October 4, 2014. Long Course Race will start at 9 a.m. followed by the Kids Race at 10:30 a.m. and Standup Paddleboard Challenge at 11 a.m.
Sign-in and same-day registration begins at 6:30 a.m. on race day at Lake-on-the-Campus Boat Dock.

This results-driven program will deliver challenging workouts, increase endurance, muscular strength and shatter plateaus. Don’t let the phrase “Boot Camp” scare you. First and foremost, this program is fun and for all fitness levels. MisFit Boot Camp is a 4-week program of intense, dynamic and functional fitness instruction and motivational training. You will be inspired and have fun while participating in a fantastic workout led by Certified Fitness Instructors. Get back on track with your fitness, increase your peak performance or just begin a fitness program and start a healthy lifestyle.

In addition to taking a tour of the lake in a canoe, you can try your skill at Slacklining. Top all of that off with some S'Mores!
All events are FREE but be sure to bring a photo ID.

The Wellness and Health Promotion Services, a department of Student Health Services, is teaming up with St. Francis CARE to bring rescued dogs to the SIU Campus Lake Boat Dock from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 8.
Take a break from midterms and stop by the boat dock to pet, walk or give attention to a rescued dog – a sure way to make you smile and reduce your stress. For more information, call Dawn Null at 618/536-4441.
Located in the Shawnee National Forest, just an hour away from campus, is Jackson Falls. Join our trained and experienced climbing guides for an amazing day of vertical fun and a fantastic night of camping! No experience is necessary. Register at the SRC Member Services Center.

Intramural Sports has teamed up with Yahoo Sports for Pro Football Pick'em.
Join the private group SIUC Intramurals by entering the Group ID# (53251) and the Password (Cospo1415). Remember, it is the Group ID#, not the group name, that you must use to join the group.
You are now ready to participate in Pro Football Pick'em. Your goal is to earn more points than other people by selecting the winner of each of this year's games!
